Did I ever tell you how I started teaching soldering classes or how I learned?

I learned how to solder with the help of Denise, a wonderful artist from Temecula, Ca. She sells her goodies at Serendipity, in Old Town Temecula. She taught me the basics of soldering and how to cut glass. I never thought to continue on practicing and teaching but I believe that the economy and not selling as much woodwork pushed me. I love teaching and to see all the ladies get together in my workshop and enjoy the day in Rainbow makes me happy.
My first class was at La Maison Rustique, first EVER soldering class and I only charged $20.00! We made this pen. I still love it but don't drop it, it's glass, lol. I was not an expert and every body brought their own soldering irons but only 3 worked. With 12 students and 3 soldering irons I though my first class. Thank you to the students that made me feel comfortable and still take my classes I am still here, and it can only get better.
Now I am overwhelmed by the response on my classes that I wish I could have the energy and time to teach every week.
Thank you for your support
